Wash cool or warm (up to 40°C) on a gentle cycle with a mild liquid detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener, which wear down natural fibres. Line dry in the shade or tumble dry on low, and remove promptly to limit creasing. A little shrinkage on the first wash is normal for natural cotton, and washing cool and drying low keeps it to a minimum. Wash darker colours separately the first time. Care guide
